akshmi is a Hindu goddess. She is the wife of the god Vishnu and personification of the beauty, of the abundance, of the generosity and, mainly, of the wealth and the fortune. She is the goddess of good luck. Considered an avatar of Sita, the wife of the god Rama. It can be seen sitting on a lotus flower, or holding lotus flowers in hands, and a pitcher pouring gold coins. Generally, Lakshmi is credited with the symbol of the swastika, which represents victory and success. Apadma is the name given to Lakshmi when represented without the lotus, when leaving the Ocean. It was she who gave Indra, the king of the demigods, the soma (or blood of knowledge) of her own body so that it would produce the illusion of childbirth and become the King of the Devas. It is usually accompanied by two elephants. She is also represented as Devi Kundalini Shakti, used in alchemy to obtain the philosopher's stone. Jaya Maha Lakshmi! (Image by Vecteezy)
