The sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro has been given a facelift for 2019, with the V8 powered SS model rocking a somewhat controversial all-black front end. The 6.2L V8 has been carried over from the 2016 Camaro SS, capable of producing 461 PS (339 kW) and 455 lb-ft (617 Nm) of torque. This helps the Camaro SS to launch from 0-100 kph in 4.5 seconds and onwards to a top speed of around 185 mph (297 kph). The transmission has been upgraded to a new 10-speed automatic version with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. A 6-speed manual version is also available for the more pure driving experience.
