Harley Quinn (real name Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel) is a fictional character created by Americans Paul Dini and Bruce Timm for the DC Comics publishing house. Quinn made her debut in the twenty-second episode of Batman: The Animated Series, "The Joker's Favor," in September 1992 and became a recurring villain on the series. A year later she was introduced to the comic book universe in the twelfth edition of The Adventures of Batman. She has since appeared in numerous works, from the graphic novel Crazy Love (1994) to the video game series Batman: Arkham. Quinn has starred in three solo comic series.
