The Last of Us is a survival horror action-adventure video game developed by the American company Naughty Dog and distributed by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 in 2013. The plot describes the experiences of Joel and Ellie, a pair of survivors of a pandemic in the United States that causes the mutation of human beings in cannibalistic creatures.
Its development began in 2009, shortly after the release of the previous Naughty Dog game, Uncharted 2: The Kingdom of Thieves and fell to Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann.
