Ryuko Matoi is the daughter of Souichiro Kiryuin and the main protagonist of Kill la Kill Anime and Manga. He moved to the Honnouji Academy looking for half of his Scissor Sword and the person who used it to assassinate his father.
Later, it is revealed that she allegedly died after a failed experiment in an attempt to merge the Living Fibers with her, and that she is the youngest daughter of Ragyo Kiryuin and sister of Satsuki Kiryuin.
